Boat & Yacht Rentals

Booking software for boat and yacht rentals

Rent pontoons by the hour, charter yachts for the day, and never put two parties on the same boat.

  • Every vessel tracked, so a boat can never be booked twice
  • Captains and crew scheduled with conflict detection
  • Deposits and card holds sized for high-value rentals
  • Every guest signs a waiver on their own phone

A boat is the most expensive thing most rental operators own, and it can only be in one place at a time. Booking software for a marina has to get that right every single time: the right vessel, the right window, the right captain, and a signed waiver from everyone stepping aboard. Resytech is built around that problem, whether you run three pontoons on a lake or a dozen yachts on Lake Michigan.

Hourly rentals and full-day charters in one calendar

Different boats sell differently. Pontoons go out for half days, jet skis by the hour, and a yacht charter might be a block of time the customer chooses. Each vessel type carries its own durations, pricing, and schedule, while one shared calendar shows your dock staff everything going out and coming back today.

  • Fixed rental lengths (1 hour, half day, full day), each with its own price
  • Flexible-length charters priced by the hour, with a minimum and maximum
  • Buffer time between rentals for inspection, fueling, and cleanup
  • Weekend, holiday, and peak-season pricing without duplicating anything

One boat, one booking

Availability is computed against real overlapping reservations, not a daily count. A unique vessel can be marked exclusive, so booking your yacht for a private charter automatically blocks it from the sunset cruise and the hourly rental at the same time. Interchangeable fleets, like ten identical jet skis, are tracked by quantity, so the eleventh booking simply never appears.

Captains are part of the schedule

A charter is not confirmed until it has a captain. Assign captains and crew to bookings and Resytech blocks anyone who is already committed to another trip in that window, so you can fill the calendar across the whole fleet without quietly scheduling one person onto two boats. Built-in timesheets track their hours.

Deposits sized for the asset

Boat rentals carry bigger tickets and bigger risk. Take a deposit at booking and the balance at the dock, or authorize a security hold on the customer's card and capture or release it after the boat comes back. Corporate outings and weddings can be invoiced, and cash, check, or bank transfers are recorded against the booking so the balance is always right. Card payments run through your own Stripe account.

Waivers before anyone boards

A charter party can be two dozen people. Instead of passing a clipboard down the dock, Resytech sends each guest a link to their own waiver and everyone signs on their own phone at the same time. The booking shows exactly who has signed, so the crew knows when the group is cleared to leave. Custom fields collect the rest up front, like boating experience or the number of children aboard.

Common questions

Can Resytech handle jet ski rentals as well as boats?

Yes. Interchangeable units like jet skis are tracked by quantity, so customers book any available unit, while unique boats can be marked exclusive so they are never double-booked across different rental types.

Can I take a security deposit on a boat rental?

Yes. Collect a deposit when the customer books, or authorize a hold on the customer's card and capture or release it after the boat is returned. Payments run through your own Stripe account.

How do captains get assigned to charters?

Captains and crew are assigned to bookings, and Resytech will not let the same person be assigned to two overlapping trips. The calendar can fill across every boat without anyone being scheduled twice.

Can guests sign waivers before they get to the dock?

Yes. Waiver links can go out with the confirmation and reminder messages, and any guest who has not signed can do it on their own phone at check-in. The booking shows who is still outstanding.
