Introducing Plugins: Add Exactly the Tools Your Business Needs

No two operations run the same way. A busy Jet Ski dock needs different tools than a guided kayak tour or an escape room. So instead of packing every feature into the core dashboard and hoping it fits, we built Plugins: optional add-ons you install yourself, one at a time, only where you need them.

You browse, install, configure, and enable plugins right from the new Plugins menu. No support ticket, no waiting for us to flip a switch. Each plugin is enabled per location, so you decide exactly which of your sites get it. And there are two flavors: feature plugins that just need to be switched on, and connector plugins that link to an outside service and ask for a credential or two before they go live.

Here’s what’s available today.

Staff Assistant: answers grounded in your own procedures

New staff member, busy Saturday, and a question they’re afraid to ask the manager mid-rush: “A customer is short on the security deposit, what do I do?” The Staff Assistant answers it instantly, from your handbooks, SOPs, and refund and deposit policies, not a generic FAQ.

It connects a Retell AI chat agent, backed by a knowledge base you fill with your own documents, to a chat panel inside the dashboard. Any staff member at an enabled location can ask a question and get a grounded answer, and follow up in the same conversation. It’s the fastest way to get a new hire productive without turning your best people into a help desk. (Connector: needs your Retell API key and agent ID.)

SMS Inbox: text customers two-way, from one shared inbox

Customers text your business number all day: “Running ten minutes late,” “Which dock again?”, “Can we add one more rider?” The SMS Inbox pulls every one of those into a shared inbox right inside the dashboard, grouped by phone number and matched to the customer on file. Any staff member with permission can read and reply, so messages get answered fast instead of sitting unseen on one person’s phone.

It reuses the Twilio connection you’ve already set up, so there’s nothing new to buy. Want to keep a public customer-facing number separate from a private workflow line? Add one or more numbers and the inbox keeps each conversation on the number the customer texted. Staff who can send are notified the moment a text comes in, both in-app and by push, so nobody has to babysit the inbox. (Feature.)

Broadcasts: reach a whole slate of customers at once

This one was built for the weather day. A storm rolls in, you cancel the afternoon’s trips, and every affected customer needs to hear from you now. Open Broadcasts, pick the date range, and send a one-off email or text to everyone booked, with cancelled bookings included by default, because that’s exactly who you’re trying to reach.

It also handles the everyday announcement: message your whole team, just your facilitators, or customers with bookings in any range. Recipients are grouped by time slot so you can notify just the morning trips, deduplicated so nobody gets the same message twice, and a “skipped” panel shows exactly who couldn’t be reached and why. Nobody is silently dropped. Delivery runs in the background with live per-recipient progress. (Feature: email works instantly; texts use your Twilio connection.)

Incoming Call Router: the right calls reach a person

On a peak day the phone never stops, and most of it is people who already booked and just have a quick question. The Incoming Call Router takes that pressure off the front desk. When a call comes in, it checks the caller’s number against your bookings: if they have an upcoming or in-progress reservation, the call goes to a Retell AI voice agent that answers common questions and hands off to a human when needed. Everyone else rings straight through to a person.

Routine questions get instant answers, your staff only pick up the calls that actually need them, and calls are never dropped. If the AI agent can’t be reached, the router falls back to a real phone automatically. More routing rules (business hours, caller lists, menus) are on the way. (Connector: needs a Retell voice agent and a fallback number.)

Zapier: connect Resytech to 6,000+ other apps

Sometimes the tool you need already lives somewhere else: your accounting software, a Google Sheet, a Slack channel, or your email marketing list. The Zapier connector lets you pipe Resytech booking events straight into any of them, no code required. New booking? Push it to a spreadsheet, notify a channel, add the customer to a mailing list, whatever your workflow needs. (Connector: generate an API key and connect it in Zapier.)

Don’t see what you need? Just ask.

This is the whole point of the plugin system: it’s built to grow. If there’s a tool, integration, or capability that would help you run your business better, we’re genuinely open to building it. A lot of what ships in Resytech started as a single operator saying “I wish it could do this.” Tell us what you’re missing, and there’s a good chance it becomes the next plugin.

To get started, open the Plugins menu in your dashboard and choose Browse Plugins. Install one, follow its setup guide, and switch it on. For step-by-step instructions, see the Plugins documentation. And if you’ve got an idea for a plugin we haven’t built yet, reach out.
